Meet Ian Verster – Irrigation Designer at Overberg Agri

Have you met, Ian Verster? Ian is one of our responsible Irrigation Designers looking after our clients in Stellenbosch. In this video, we showcase a recent irrigation installation that Ian and his team completed for Warwick Wine Estate. Warwick Wine Estate is the ideal estate to pay tribute to this Women’s Month. The estate’s co-founder—Norma Ratcliffe—is widely known as the ‘First Lady’ of the South African wine industry, as she was one of the first women in the country to make wine. She was also the first woman to become a member of the Cape Winemakers’ Guild. Norma paved the way for many women in the SA Wine Industry, being an inspiration to so many. Warwick is now led by one of the first female CEO’s in the industry, Christine Von Arnim; and the making of their exceptional wines is overseen by the wonderful Estelle Lourens. Our team were honoured to manage this irrigation installation for this beautiful, world-renowned wine estate.
