RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mechanical repairs to agricultural equipment;
• Ensure work area is neat and tidy; and
• Effective monitoring and administration of attendance register and worksheets.

 QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 10 / Grade 12;
• N1/N2, with Mathematics, Science, Technical Drawing and Motor Theory, will be an advantage;
• Relevant experience and practical experience will be an advantage;
• Must be able to work under pressure;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English;
• Computer literate;
• Accuracy and attention to detail;
• Mechanical skills relating to the maintenance of agricultural equipment;
• Must be in good health (no back and/or foot problems);
• Must not be allergic to dust, chemicals or oil;
• Willingness to work overtime, which may include Saturdays and public holidays; and
• A valid Code B driver’s licence is compulsory. A Code EC driver’s licence will be an advantage.

 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

 A market-related remuneration package is offered. Applicants must include reference number A060001 and submit required documents (ID, driver’s license, qualifications, and two work references) for the application to be considered. Preference will be given to suitable candidates from the designated groups in terms of the company’s EE Plan. If no feedback is received within six weeks after the closing date, the application can be considered unsuccessful. The company reserves the right to make an appointment or not.
